Go see The Nightingales tonight, The Go! Team any night this week, Basquiat at the Brooklyn Museum but avoid, at all costs, John Leonard's tortured (in every sense) Lethem review in NYRB, which is balanced out by Coetzee's excellent mini-bio-style piece on Faulkner. (Here is a story I need to bookmark, because I will lose it if I don't. So now I have.)
